Conference Background

凡益之道，与时偕行。电影艺术已走过120多年的光阴，新世纪以来，世界电影版图也悄然变化，由欧洲艺术电影与美国好莱坞商业电影的二分态势，转变为世界各国电影多元发展的新形态。亚洲电影作为一股重要力量，参与到世界电影格局的重塑进程。当下，全球区域国别电影研究正如火如荼地展开，为世界电影研究的多样性贡献力量。

Film art has gone through more than one hundred and twenty years. Entering the 21st century, the territory of the world cinemas has also quietly changed, from the dominant framework of European art films and American Hollywood commercial films to a new trend of diversified development of films from all over the world. As an important emerging force, Asian films are participating in the process of reshaping the world film pattern. At present, film studies in countries and regions around the world are in full swing, contributing to the diversity of film studies in the world.

文明交流互鉴是推动人类文明进步和世界和平发展的重要动力。文明互鉴，电影先行。电影以其视听艺术的直观性和极强的文化感召力，成为世界人民彼此交流的最好载体之一，促进民心相交、文明互鉴。随着中国电影在全球市场影响力和文化感染力的日渐增强，休戚与共、息息相关，中国电影与全球电影也愈加相互依存、相互作用、相互影响。

Exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations are an important driving force for the progress of human civilization and the peaceful development of the world. Mutual learning between civilizations, movies first. Movies, with their intuitive audio-visual art and strong cultural appeal, have become one of the best carriers for people of the world to communicate with each other, promoting people-to-people exchanges and mutual learning between civilizations. With the growing influence and cultural appeal of Chinese films in the global market, we share weal and woe and are closely related. Chinese films and global films are also increasingly interdependent, interacting, and influencing each other.

本届“全球电影研究”年会立足于中国与世界电影发展的新形势，提出以电影交流促进文明互鉴的新命题，以包容性、时代性与超越性的精神，旨在联合国内外电影研究的专家学者，对全球电影进行历史回溯、现状研究与未来展望。会议鼓励多样化的研究选题，范畴包括但不限于中国电影、亚洲电影以及世界其他区域和国家电影的研究，涵盖电影理论、电影史、电影批评等艺术领域，研究视角可涉及产业、文化、类型等诸多方面，亦可以是对史料的梳理或现状的分析，也特别鼓励新媒介与新技术背景下的电影研究，以及交叉学科研究等新的方法范式。凡此种种，不一而足，力图呈现多元性与包容性的电影研究盛会。

The "Global Film Studies" annual conference is based on the new situation of film development in China and the world, and puts forward a new proposition of promoting mutual learning between civilizations through film exchanges. Experts and scholars conduct historical retrospect, current situation research and future prospects of global films. The conference encourages a variety of research topics, including but not limited to Chinese films, Asian films, and films from other regions and countries in the world, covering art fields such as film theory, film history, and film criticism. Research perspectives can involve industry, culture, It can also be a combing of historical materials or an analysis of the current situation. It also particularly encourages film studies under the background of new media and new technologies, as well as new method paradigms such as interdisciplinary research. These are all possible, and strive to present a film research event that is diverse and inclusive.

Instructions for 

Submission and Participation

本次国际会议受邀参加的国内外学者需要提交正式学术论文，且论文应为在本论坛首次发表，字数在10000－15000字（含注释）。会议组委会将聘请国内外资深学者进行论文评审。论文符合规范且通过评审者，将会收到正式参会通知。

Domestic and foreign scholars invited to participate in this international conference need to submit formal academic papers, and the papers should be published for the first time in this forum, with a word count of 10,000-15,000 words (including annotations). The conference organizing committee will hire senior scholars at home and abroad to review papers. Papers that meet the specifications and pass the review will receive a formal notification of participation.

1、  时间安排

2023年10月20日前，请将《参会回执》（下载方式见文末）和论文全文（中文10000-15000字，英文8000字以上，含注释），发至论坛专用信箱filmconference2023@163.com

2023年10月30日左右，论文经过专家组审定通过后，将发送正式邀请函。

2023年11月24-26日，会议将于河北省石家庄市河北传媒学院召开。主办单位将提供入选学者在石家庄的食宿接待，往返交通自理。部分特邀专家的交通往返将由主办单位承担。

Before October 20th, 2023, please send the Participation Receipt((Download at the end of this article) and the full text of the paper (10,000-15,000 words in Chinese, more than 8,000 words in English, including annotations) to the forum dedicated mailbox filmconference2023@163.com

Around October 30th, 2023, after the paper has been reviewed and approved by the expert group, a formal invitation letter will be sent.

In November 24-26，2023, the conference will be held at Hebei Institute Of Communications, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. The organizer will provide the selected scholars with board and lodging reception in Shijiazhuang, and the round-trip transportation will be taken care of by themselves. The transportation of some specially invited experts will be borne by the sponsor.

2、  论文提交要求

Requirements for submission

（1）中文论文标题黑体三号，正文宋体小四，1.5倍行距。正文需包含题目、摘要（200字以内）、关键词（3—5个）、正文主体和参考文献几个部分。英文论文请选用正文14号，注释10.5号Times New Roman字体。

（2）论文请用Microsoft office-Word2003以下版本，A4纸幅面。中文论文，请采用正文小4号宋体字，注释小5号宋体字。论文注释符号应在句号后，采用页脚标注。英文论文请选用正文14号，注释10.5号Times New Roman字体。

（3）请作者遵循学术规范、科研道德和有关著作权法，不得抄袭、剽窃他人研究成果。

(1) The title of the thesis in Chinese should be boldface number three, and the main text should be in Song Dynasty font size four, with 1.5 times the line spacing. The text should include title, abstract (within 200 words), keywords (3-5), body of the text and references. For English papers, please use Times New Roman font size 14 for the text and 10.5 for annotations.

(2) Please use Microsoft office-Word2003 or below version for papers, A4 paper format. For Chinese papers, please use Song typeface with a small size of 4 for the main text and Song typeface with a small size of 5 for annotations. The footer mark should be used after the full stop. For English papers, please use Times New Roman font size 14 for the text and 10.5 for annotations.

(3) Authors are requested to abide by academic norms, scientific research ethics and relevant copyright laws, and shall not plagiarize or plagiarize other people's research results.
